Studio McGee Holiday Collection at Target 2026: Our Picks

We love Studio McGee’s Target collection for its timeless, traditional and affordable pieces. Their 2026 Holiday Collection is no exception! This collection leans into everything we love about a traditional Christmas: sugared fruit, red berries, etched glass, burgundy tartan, and a little brass. It feels collected rather than themed, which is exactly what makes it easy to layer in with what you already own. Most pieces land between $10 and $45, so it’s an easy way to refresh a mantel or tree without starting over.

When Does the Studio McGee Christmas Collection Launch?
The Studio McGee holiday collection goes live on Target.com on October 4 at 3am. Here are a few things that have helped us make sure we get our favorites before they sell out:
- Save your favorites ahead of time. Add pieces to your Target app wish list now so you can check out in a few taps.
- Prioritize garlands and tree skirts. These tend to go quickly.
- Check back later in the week. Target often restocks online, and stores put out new shipments on a rolling basis.
Our Favorite Pieces from the Collection
Garlands and Greenery
If you only grab one thing, make it garland. The 72″ Sugared Fruit Christmas Garland ($35) is the standout — we’re going to be seeing a lot of fruit accents this holiday season and this is the fruit trend done really well. For a classic look, the 96″ Extra Full Mixed Green with Red Berry Garland ($45) is full enough to drape a staircase on its own, and it pairs with the matching 24″ Mixed Green and Red Berry Wreath ($35). The 72″ Faux Orange Garland ($25) adds easy warmth and texture (we especially love these in a kitchen), and the Pine and Red Berry Christmas Arrangement ($30) looks like an antique store find that you DIY’ed into a holiday centerpiece.
Tree Skirts, Collars, and Toppers
The Cable Knit Faux Fur Trim Tree Skirt in Burgundy ($35) is incredibly luxe, while the Holly Wreath Pattern Tree Skirt ($35) brings a more traditional pattern. If you prefer a collar, the Scalloped Woven Christmas Tree Collar ($70) adds charm with the woven rattan material and ruffled edge. And to finish the tree off, grab the Brass Metal Bow Tree Topper ($20) in brass or silver.
Ornaments
Stockings and Holders
The Plaid Bow Printed Holiday Stocking ($18) is a statement-maker for under $20(!) that comes in both burgundy and deep green (we suggest mixing the two on your mantle). Hang them from the Silver Braided Edge Stocking Holder or the Silver Bow Stocking Holder ($15 each).
Tabletop and Mantel Decor
We bought these salad plates last year in both blue and red and were thrilled to see them back again this year (they’re great for cookie nights too!). The matching platter would be perfect for a roast or dessert spread, and we love the cut glass of the Etched Glass Christmas Trees ($10-$15) and the Set of 2 Etched Glass Christmas Houses ($25).
Pillows and Throws
The 24″x24″ Oversized Burgundy Tartan Taffeta Ruffle Pillow ($40) and the Burgundy Cable Throw Blanket with Faux Fur Trim ($40) are easy ways to bring holiday decor into the pieces you actually use in your living room. The taffeta plaid and faux fur feel luxurious, and no one would guess they were under $50.
How We’d Style It
The collection works best when it’s layered around what you already have, not set out all at once. A few ideas:
- Build the mantel around a garland (or two). Start with the sugared fruit or berry garland (you can layer multiple for a fuller look), then tuck the brass and glass beaded garland through it for a little shimmer.
- Embrace mixing metals. Silver has been coming back up in popularity the past few years, and we’re completely on board. But don’t get rid of your brass holiday accents — in fact, combining them feels fresh for the holidays. Layer in silver pieces from this collection with the brass you already have, making sure to repeat the same metal more than once.
- Let textiles do the heavy lifting. The burgundy tartan pillow and cable throw carry the season into rooms that might not get a tree, like a bedroom or reading corner.
- Mix with what you have. Pair the new stockings with older ones, and use the gilded frame and wreath frame ornaments for family photos so the room still feels personal.
