Hearth & Hand Holiday 2026: Our Favorite New Pieces at Target

Every fall, we wait for the holiday collections at Target to launch, they’re so affordable and seem to get better every year. The good news is, the wait is almost over — Hearth & Hand holiday 2026 collection launches at Target on Sunday, October 4 at 3 a.m. ET, and we’ve already gone through it piece by piece to pull together our favorites for you.

This year leans into everything we love about the holidays at home: aged brass, fresh-looking cedar, red and green plaid, and the kind of heirloom details that look like they were passed down rather than picked up last week. It’s a collection that mixes easily with what you already own, which is exactly how we like to decorate — layered, collected and a little bit nostalgic.
A quick heads up: the most-loved pieces from Hearth & Hand tend to sell out within the first few days, so if something catches your eye, add it to your cart early. Below are our picks, grouped by where they’d live in your home.
Our Hearth & Hand Holiday 2026 Picks
Wreaths, garlands and greenery
Cedar is the star of the greenery this year, and it reads remarkably real. The Cedar Bell Mini Wreath, finished with a velvet bow and a single brass bell, is the one we’d hang on every interior door. For something a little more unique, the 19.5″ Star Mini Wreath is a fresh shape for a window or mirror.
The 12′ Cedar Garland is long enough to drape a mantel or wind up a banister, and the 2-Pack Cedar Bell Mini Swags are an easy way to dress cabinet knobs or chair backs. To fill out a vase or tuck into a garland, the Cedar Branch and 36″ Berry Stem add height and a hit of red. Out front, the Artificial Porch Tree gives a door that welcoming, finished look.
Brass and heirloom-style details
If there’s a thread running through this collection, it’s warm, aged brass. The Brass Train Set is the piece we keep coming back to — it would be beautiful on a bookshelf or circling the base of the tree. The 60″ Bell Garland would be stunning woven into fresh or faux greenery, and the Brass Stocking Holder is weighty and classic enough to use for years.
For displaying holiday cards, there are two good options: the Long Brass Scallop Card Holder for a mantel or console, and the Metal Scallop Glass Box Card Holder, which doubles as a keepsake box long after the cards come down (we use our glass boxes like these all year-long). We’re not about to swap out all of our art for the holidays but a few select pieces like this 20″ x 16″ Silent Night Sheet Music Wall Art would be charming on a mantle or styled on some shelves.
The tree
We love a tree that feels collected, and these pieces get you there. The 8-Count Antique Brass Clip-On Tree Candles have that old-world look (they’re flameless and come with a remote). Add the 3-Pack Glass Bulb Ornament Set, finish with the 13″ Brass Star Tree Topper, and ground it all with the Red Woven Tree Skirt. For a smaller space or a kid’s room, the 22″ Decorated Tree with Bells is ready to go right out of the box.
Mantel and living room
The Green Cross Stitch Stocking has a handmade, heirloom feel that pairs perfectly with the brass stocking holder. Drape the Green/Sour Cream Knit Blanket over a chair for instant warmth, and tuck the Set of 3 Decorative Glass Houses onto a shelf or windowsill where they’ll catch the light.
Candles and scent
Two candles made our list. The Large Lidded Glass Balsam and Berry Jar Candle (22 oz) comes in a deep green vessel that looks like vintage glassware, and the Ceramic Fireside Spruce Jar Candle (6 oz) is a sweet, smaller option that would make an easy hostess gift.
Holiday hosting and the table
For holiday gatherings, start with the Cedar Round Taper Candle Holder Centerpiece — it does most of the work on its own. Layer in the 4-Count Ceramic Holly Appetizer Plates, 4-Count Embroidered Holly Cocktail Napkins and the 4-Count Bell Napkin Rings. The Glass Pedestal Candy Dish is probably our personal favorite of the bunch. It feels like something out of your grandmother’s house and versatile enough to use year-round.
Gift wrap
Wrapping is half the fun, and this year’s paper is some of the best we’ve seen from the line. Choose between the 2-Pack Red and Green Plaid Wrapping Paper and the Red and Green Striped Wrapping Paper, then finish with the 3-Count Neutral Gift Packaging Ribbons. If you wrap a lot, the Ribbon Holder with Drawer keeps every spool organized and is handsome enough to leave out.
Tips for Shopping the Hearth & Hand Holiday Collection
- Shop early. The collection goes live on Target.com at 3 a.m. ET on October 4. Popular pieces like the brass train and cedar garland are likely to go fast.
- Make your list ahead of time. Bookmark this post and save your favorites to a Target list so you’re ready to check out as soon as the collection goes live.
- Check your local store, too. In-store availability can differ from online, so it’s worth checking both.
- Buy greenery in multiples. Garlands, swags and stems look fullest layered together, so plan on two or three of your favorites.
This collection is the kind that makes us want to start decorating a little earlier than usual — and we don’t think we’re alone in that.
