A Place to Belong: The Chris Loves Julia x Loloi Rugs 2026 Collection

This is our seventh collection with Loloi, and we’re just as excited to share a new one with you as ever. This year’s collection is called A Place to Belong, and we built it around the rooms that actually get lived in. There are seven new area rug collections: hand-tufted wool in a sculptural silhouette we can’t stop looking at, our first-ever wool floral, the softest new geometrics. But wait, there’s more.

The Ramona Collection

Power-loomed of 100% polyester. Machine washable.

Let’s start with the big one. Ramona looks like a rug you inherited, and it goes in your washing machine. The design is softly distressed and vintage-style, which is exactly what makes a room feel collected and layered instead of freshly purchased. So put it in the entry. Put it under the dining table. Put it in the room where you’d normally be too nervous to put a rug at all. The non-skid backing helps it stay put, though you can still add a rug pad for cushion. This is also the broadest size run in the line, with two round options.

Bobby is menswear for your floor. Plaids, herringbone, a checked grid, all in muted palettes with just enough distressing that they don’t feel brand new. If you loved Humphrey, this is that same CloudPile construction, which is the softest thing Loloi makes. Suiting fabric on top, absolute decadence underfoot.

The Doris Collection

Doris is our love letter to traditional Turkish and Persian rugs, and the thing to know about it is the texture. The pile is gently ribbed, so the rug reads light or dark depending on where you’re standing. It does that thing an old rug does where it looks different from the doorway than it does from the sofa. It comes in seven earthy, space-dyed colorways. Plus it’s easy to clean, so it’s made for the rooms that take a beating.

The Emmeline Collection

Emmeline is Scottie all grown up. Same sculpted corner that stopped everyone in their tracks, now in hand-tufted wool, so it has real weight and substance to it. Instead of a pattern doing the work, the shape does. Those notched corners frame a room the way trim frames a wall. It comes as solids with a contrast border and as fine ticking stripes, so it never competes with anything. Make sure to vacuum without a beater bar to keep it looking its best!

If you only get one rug from this collection, get Eugene. The muted vertical stripe makes it the most versatile thing we’ve designed, full stop. It goes coastal, it goes traditional, it goes modern farmhouse, and it never argues with anything else in the room. Because it’s handwoven, the stripes waver and the heathering shifts. Nothing lines up perfectly, and that’s exactly what makes a neutral rug feel like something special.

The Norah Collection

Norah is our first wool floral, and it’s been a long time coming. The florals are small and a little irregular, scattered so they seem to dance across the field, with a scalloped border finishing it like a hand-drawn line. It’s vintage cottage in feeling, but the space-dyed color keeps it moody rather than sweet, and the wool pile makes it plush. Don’t be worried if it sheds a bit at first. All wool does!

The Miriam Collection

Miriam is the quiet one, and we mean that as a compliment. Traditional motifs drawn with a lighter hand, in two-toned colorways that make a room feel like an exhale. But don’t let the softness fool you: it’s built for the busiest rooms in your house. The space-dyed yarns have a slight nubbiness to them, and that’s the detail that makes it read hand-knotted rather than printed.

How we’d actually choose one

Here’s the reframe that changed how we shop for rugs: stop treating a rug as a design decision and start treating it as a problem you’re solving. What does the room need that it doesn’t have? If a space feels too cool, a warm-toned rug fixes it faster than anything else you could buy. If you’ve got an open floor plan, a large-scale pattern will draw the line between the living room and the dining room without a single wall.

And then, our actual challenge to you: layer color in a colorful room. Layer pattern in a patterned room. It feels wrong, and it works. Julia went with a deep blue in our primary bedroom this time, when she’d normally reach for a neutral, and it’s the best that room has ever looked.

If you want the collected, lived-in version of this, reach for the vintage ones. Miriam, Doris, and Ramona all read like something you’ve had for years, which is the whole point.

The bath mats — our first ever

Genuinely so excited about these. Four collections, and every one goes in your washing machine. If a few of them look familiar, that’s on purpose: we pulled from our favorite rugs over the years and shrunk them down.

The Clove Bath Mat

Power-loomed of polyester. Machine washable.

Clove is what you get when Rue and Norah have a baby. We scaled block-print-inspired florals down and framed each one with a thin border, so it reads like a little painting on the floor. The pile is velvety. The backing is non-skid. And when it gets dirty, it goes in the wash.

Scalloped edges. Need we say more? Valerie is a nod to Scottie, scaled for the bathroom. The tufted pile is genuinely plush, while a dashed hand-drawn border keeps the shape from going too sweet. Machine-tufted in India and OEKO-TEX certified. Non-skid, and yes, washable.

The Lawrence Bath Mat

Francis fans, this one’s for you. The diamond pattern pulls from tilework and argyle, woven at two pile heights so it has a subtle carved texture. The low pile clears the door and tucks under a vanity without bunching. That’s the quiet reason most bath mats get retired, and it’s fixed here. Non-skid backing. Washes at home.

The Marvin Bath Mat

Let’s cut to the chase: Marvin has memory foam in it. (What a dream!) The pattern is a herringbone with contrast stripes. It reads like a good vintage grain sack, and it’s the most classic of the four. Soft, cushioned, and washable.

A Place to Belong

Every collection we make builds on the one before it. These are meant to mix and match with the rugs you already own, not replace them. Layer a Eugene over carpet to frame a bed. Slide a Bobby runner into a hallway. Put a Ramona somewhere you’d normally be too nervous to put a rug at all.

And then give the bathroom something worth standing on. It’s the first room you’re in every morning and the last one at night, and it’s been getting the leftovers for years. Not anymore.

New Pillows for Fall

The pillows pull from the same places the rugs do: lakehouse Americana, moody traditional, and a run of rich, quiet solids that do everything a neutral does without being boring.

Eight new designs — Liza, Sorrel, Vale, Rachel, Alder, Lottie, Emerson, and Sally — in sizes from a 12″ x 27″ lumbar up to a generous 22″ x 22″. There’s one for the bed, one for the bench, and one for the corner of the sofa.
