Client Reveal: A Layered Primary Bedroom

If you love a good before-and-after, this primary bedroom makeover should tickle your fancy. While the room had a few lovely details to start, including a bed with the prettiest dentil moulding detail, this primary bedroom makeover is proof that you don’t always need to start from scratch to create something that feels entirely new.
The bones were there, but everything else was reimagined. We added panel moulding throughout to bring layers of architectural interest and give the room a sense of depth and permanence. Their beautiful antique armoire found a new home, one where it feels far more intentional and allows its character to truly shine. New nightstands helped freshen things up, while a pair of wall sconces introduced a slightly more modern, unexpected twist that brings a lovely balance.
And, perhaps, the most satisfying update of all? Saying goodbye to the old navy broadloom. In its place, we installed dreamy white oak flooring in the most delicious medium-toned hue, instantly making the room feel brighter, warmer, and infinitely more timeless.
The result is a bedroom that feels layered, collected, and quietly elegant. See it all below <3
