Get The Look: A Hardworking Kitchen with Classic Warmth & Modern Ease

It’s no secret I have a soft spot for a layered transitional kitchen. Especially one that feels as considered as this one. It’s the kind of space that doesn’t just look beautiful in photos, but works equally as hard behind the scenes.
We started with a soft, almost-neutral green on the cabinetry (Farrow & Ball’s Vitty Green if you’re in the market!), which shifts ever so slightly depending on the light. Paired with a walnut island, complete with the most incredible turned legs, brings just enough warmth and contrast to keep things interesting.
The Armac Martin hardware acts as true jewelry here (as it always should), while a simple backsplash, laid in a slightly more modern pattern, keeps the overall feel fresh and current.
But what really makes this layered transitional kitchen shine is the way it lives: thoughtful storage, integrated elements, and layers of lighting that can be adapted depending on the mood. It’s a space designed to be used, loved, and lived in. Exactly as it should be. It was a joy to design, and I’m so excited to share every last moment <3
